| Summary | SLS 50th Anniversary Follow-on Funding Our final season of excavation is scheduled for September 2019. Currently, our funding will cover 4 weeks of excavation and analysis on-site, we are seeking support for a further 10 days of excavation, analysis and conservation on-site to maximise the results and provide a firm basis for a study season in 2020 so that the excavation monograph can be completed and submitted in a timely manner in 2021. The additional time on-site will also allow us to develop and hold a temporary exhibition on-site with display panels featuring the key finds (funding of £2000 awarded from UCL ODA-GCRF funds) engaging with the local community and different stakeholders. |
