An illustrated lecture by Professor Emeritus Charlotte Roueché, Senior Research Fellow in Digital Hellenic Studies, Kings College London.
Since 2008 Charlotte Roueché has been working with Joyce Reynolds to present the epigraphy of Roman Libya online: the first publication was the Inscriptions of Roman Tripolitania in 2009. The project is constantly evolving, not only because of changes in Libya, but also because of the constant revolution in digital scholarship. In this talk Professor Roueché will present the project its development and its future.
The President and Council of the Society for Libyan Studies invite you to attend this lecture to be held at the British Academy, 10 Carlton House Terrace, London SW1A 5AH at 5.30 pm on Tuesday 9 February 2016. Members friends are welcome.
